Dada Gavand

I wish I had seen this Gentleman. I tried to see him 2010 when he was about 97 years old. But I could not. he was staying in Yevoor near Thane, Maharashtra.

Why this man was adored by those who knew him.  He has written a couple of books. "Intelligence beyond thought", "Towards the Unknown" "Beyond the Mind" are the books that will make definite understanding of life. An amazing man.

In his book Beyond the Mind he writes " One has to depend more on one's awareness and intelligence to capture the spirit behind statements rather than get hooked to the traditional meaning of word." One will open the mind to capture the essence the statements through unbiased attention."  "one of the purpose of this book is to show the limitations as well as futility of reading and of depending upon words and ideas to experience the truth.The moment this book creates such an hindrance and becomes a catch to the mind, the reader should be alert and attentive within himself, and ready to throw the book out of the window, to be free from reading all such books from there on.
